Brittany Hood

Brittany serves as the Evangel Kids Ministry Leader at Evangel Church, where she is passionate about helping children in grades 1–5 grow in their faith and discover the love of Jesus. With a warm, engaging approach and a heart for young learners, she leads students each Sunday in exploring the Bible and applying its truth to their lives.

Drawing on her background as a children’s ice skating instructor, Brittany brings creativity and connection to every lesson, making God’s Word come alive in fun and meaningful ways. She recently helped coordinate a life-changing kids retreat—Kids Breakaway in Carlisle, PA—which gave students an opportunity to deepen their faith and build lasting friendships.

In addition to her work in children’s ministry, Brittany also serves on the Evangel Church worship team, using her musical gifts to lead others in heartfelt praise. Her life and leadership are deeply shaped by Matthew 17:20, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Brittany is committed to building a Christ-centered foundation for the next generation through dynamic, faith-based kids programs that make learning about God exciting, accessible, and real.
